Who we are

Our website address is: https://peyroulat.com.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information
that we collect about you lawfully.
As we are an information-only website and not an interactive
forum/membership website or ecommerce store there are very limited ways
we currently use personal data; however, for transparency purposes and to
comply with relevant laws we have set these out below.

these include, name, address and email information.

Details of your visits to our Website, including, but not limited to, traffic data,
location data and the resources that you access (including the pages of our
Website that you view).

How do we share your information?

We will not disclose your personal information to any other party other than in
accordance with this Privacy Policy and in the circumstances detailed below:
Where we are legally required by law to disclose your personal information to further fraud protection and reduce the risk of fraud.

Storage, processing & protecting your information

Functionality regarding adding comments and uploading images are not
currently enabled on this site, with interactivity very limited. There are very
limited ways in which we collect data.
Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of
identity.
By providing your personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing or
processing. We do our upmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to
make sure that your data is treated and stored securely.
Unfortunately the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure
and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee
the security of data that you choose to send us electronically. Sending such
information is entirely at your own risk.

Cookies

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard Internet log
information and visitor behavior information. When you visit this website, we
may collect information from you automatically through cookies or similar
technology.
We currently use cookies in a very limited way. By building a website on
wordpress.org we use several plug-ins to improve the functionality of the site.
We are also keen to understand how people are using the website, principally
through Google Analytics.
Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to
monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
You can set your browser not to accept cookies, and remove cookies from
your browser.

Email newsletters for our blogs: We have recently added a subscription link to our blog. This is using MailPoet’s email marketing plugin system. We have chosen MailPoet to manage email subscriptions as it is a well-known WordPress plugin and offers a service appropriate to a small website like ours.

When you subscribe to this newsletter, we collect your first name and email address. We may store a cookie on your browser to prevent duplicate subscriptions – to stop the sign up box appearing on multiple occasions – and improve user experience. MailPoet’s service requires clear consent, enables double opt-in and provides unsubscribe options in line with GDPR. At any time you can unsubscribe from this service.

Privacy policies of other websites

Our website contains links to other websites, such as tourist offices. Our
privacy policy applies only to our website, so if you click on a link to another
website, you should read their privacy policy.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers
automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser setting to
decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage
of the website however.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images,
articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact
same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional
third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded
content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you
have an account and are logged in to that website.

What rights you have over your data

As this is not an ecommerce or interactive blog allowing comments and
feedback or user permissions there are very limited ways for us to store any
personal data. Any personal data currently will be submitted via the contact
form or newsletter signup. You can opt out of email communications at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in any email we send. You can request that we erase any personal data we hold
about you by emailing contact@peyroulat.com. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for
administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection
service.
